Queste le sue dichiarazioni: "Dopo un lunghissimo tira e molla è arrivato De Katelaere, un giocatore di talento e di prospettiva. Il Milan ha una struttura di squadra di giovani di talento che garantiscono al Milan un futuro. È una squadra che si è rafforzata ma con il budget che resta dovrà arricchire la rosa".
